Features

For backcountry skiers who are tired of compromising on performance to save weight, The Zero G Tour Scout comes in at just 1,360g and is designed for advanced skiers who are looking for a more forgiving flex but still want to send it in the backcountry. Thanks to a polyurethane cuff, Grilamid shell and an uber-wide 55-degree range of motion, the Tour Scout can rip up the skin track with the best of them. And yet, when you lock down the four buckles for the descent, the Zero G Tour Scout’s 120 flex shines, making this touring boot super fun and stable for the downhill.

Features:

  • C.A.S. Shell: The C.A.S. shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allow for a better out of the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing of the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.
    • Shell Features: Anatomic and precise shape; easier and faster thermo-forming; easy customization.
  • Double Blocking Mobility Cuff System: A new mobility cuff system offers double blocking system that increases performance, stability, and safety. Offers 55 touring range of motion for a natural and effortless movement. Self-adjusting system reduces every kind of play.
  • Quick Instep: Utilizes softer plastic over the instep area that allows the shell to open easier as you are entering or exiting the boot.
  • Vibram: Thanks for our partnership with Vibram, Tecnica ski boots feature Vibram soles characterized by a dual-density rubber compound. Yellow harder rubber in those areas close to the binding, in order to provide with a higher power transmission while skiing. The black areas identify a softer compound that allows an increased grip of the sole for more security when the boot is in walk mode.
  • Recco: The RECCO reflector in this product enables rescue profes-sionals to locate you with RECCO detectors in the event of an avalanche accident or when lost in the outdoors. RECCO reflectors require no power and no activation to function. Multiple reflectors are recommended for optimal performance.
  • C.A.S. Light Liner: Our Zero G Peak liners are anatomically pre-shaped to deliver the best fit out of the box. The dual-density, C.A.S. microcellular material around the heel area is positioned to deliver great heel retention. If required, C.A.S. material can be grinded and thermo-molded for further personalization. The new flex structure on the back of the liner guarantees even easier hiking. In addition, it features Recco reflector technology for additional safety. Finally, the waterproof, breathable membrane keeps feet warm and dry all day long.
