The Alpenglow Sports 10/20K Freestyle, one of the most competitive and scenic races in the Far West, returns to Tahoe XC on Sunday, February 21st, 2026 at 10am. For those skiers craving a shorter distance, we are also happy to offer the Alpenglow 10k! Both distances depart together in a mass start at 10am, where skate and classic skiers begin together.

In partnership with Tahoe XC and Atomic, Salomon, and Fischer, Alpenglow Sports is thrilled to offer this community-oriented nordic race that is welcoming to all disciplines and ability levels. After you've enjoyed some of Tahoe XC's most scenic trails, skiers will celebrate together with warm chili, cornbread, and adult beverages.
