Beaver Tail Trail Loop

On Wednesday, 6/10, at 7AM meet us at the end of Speckled St. in King’s Beach for a 4.5 mile loop on the Beaver Tail Trail. This scenic loop offers everything you need for an early season run: minimal climbing and beautiful lake views. 

These runs are ALL inclusive, and all ages and abilities are encouraged to join us! Bring your family, friends, dogs, or come by yourself and meet your new running partners at the trailhead.

Watermans Loop | Run + Paddle + Skratch Nutrition Spotlight

Run in the woods and then jump in the lake! This Saturday, 6/10, at 7AM meet us at Watermans Cafe in Carnelian Bay for a 6 mile loop and paddle. Our sponsor, Skratch Labs, will provide the nutrition, the team at Watermans will provide the paddle gear and guidance, and we will get you out on the trails. We will start with the run, and the opportunity to paddle will follow, so you can choose to participate or not depending on your schedule and needs. More details to come! 

Please bring anything you think you might need for both the run, and the paddle experience! Hat, sunscreen, water, a towel, etc. We will bring the fuel! We are so grateful to have the support of the incredibly generous team at Skratch Labs to help us reach our goals and perform our best. They have supplied us with their tried and true lineup of hydration mixes, chews, bars, and recovery options to use  before, during, and after the run. 

You do not need to be an experienced runner or paddler to participate! This activity is intended to be an opportunity for everyone to experience the magic of Lake Tahoe from the mountains to the lake.

Broken Arrow Loop | ACG Demo, BA Shakeout Run, and Pub Meet Up

We teamed up with our friends at ACG to organize a 5.5 mile shakeout run, and give you the opportunity to demo the ACG Ultrafly, ACG Zegama, and/or ACG Pegasus Trail trail shoes. Whether you’re running in the race or just want to get back to the ski hill, meet us at 530PM on Thursday (6/18) at the Palisades Tahoe KT Sun Deck by the ACG tents. 

These are zero drop runs that are intended to bring together our mountain community out on the trails! And as such, they are for everybody. Running the race? Grab friends and family to join you and experience some of the magic you will [on race day] for themselves. Never heard of Broken Arrow Skyrace? Learn the beautiful trails Palisades has to offer, test out some of the best trail shoes available, and enjoy the passionate fun loving community that these events bring together. Who knows maybe you’ll register next year? There is something for everybody! 

After the run, join us at the pub to connect, enjoy the race weekend energy in the village, and rehydrate! Check out the loop here

Painted Rock Out & Back 

Join us this week for a 6.5 mile out and back to Painted Rock! We will begin at the Western States Trailhead off of 89 at 7AM.

This trail starts with a steady incline right from the jump, and frankly continues most of the way to the top. But, let us say that the top is so very worth every part of the climb. And, the good news is that it is all downhill from there.

All ages and abilities are encouraged to join us! Our runs are zero drop and you can always count on having our staff with you. Please grab a friend and start your day off with us!

Saturday, June 27th, 4AM

WSER Escarpment Run

Yes, you read that right, 4AM. Join us early this Saturday, 6/27, to run up to Watson Monument and cheer on the Western States Endurance Run runners at the start of their adventure! This is an incredibly communal and high energy experience, and we encourage everyone to brave the early morning to participate. 

Don’t forget to bring anything you think you might need to hang out for a bit — water, layers, hat, sunscreen, etc.
