The Broken Arrow Skyrace, presented by ACG (All Conditions Gear), is a four-day, 10-distance event held at world-famous Palisades Tahoe. June 18-21, 2026 elite and recreational participants will encounter an unforgettable trail running experience “where the mountains meet the sky.” The Broken Arrow consists of nine iconic distances that showcase the beauty of Lake Tahoe, the Jewel of the Sierra Nevada.
Designed in the vein of classic European Skyraces, the Broken Arrow Skyrace represents a unique style of mountain running, characterized by off-trail scrambling on steep terrain with massive amounts of vertical gain and loss at altitude....with exposure, hand lines, a ladder and snow slopes thrown in for good measure!

Ultratrail FX.One Superlite
Our Race Ready pole is the Ultratrail FX.One Superlite. Alpenglow Sports trail runner and veteran Broken Arrow racer, Luke Nelson, used the Ultratrail FX.One Superlite while racing the Broken Arrow Triple Crown in 2023. Here's what he has to say:
"I originally didn't have the Superlite version of these poles until recently and it was a drastic change. I didn't realize dropping around 50g in weight would have an impact on how sore my arms and chest would get, but it was well worth it. The shark frame strap system is extremely helpful when hitting aid stations, you can easily disconnect from the pole and grab the items in your drop bag."
