We are so stoked that you've chosen to shop with us! We know you have many options and are so grateful for your support of small, independent retailers like Alpenglow Sports. We understand that things don't always work out and have crafted our shipping and return policies so that you always get the best product that fits your needs.

Do you take returns on sale items?
We're stoked that you scored a great deal on a sale item! Sale items are always final sale. There are no returns on sale items or items purchased using a discount code.
What products can not be returned?
Products that have been used outdoors cannot be returned. Additionally, we do not take returns on climbing or mountaineering gear, or avalanche safety equipment.
What about online orders?
We are happy to facilitate online returns through the mail and in-store. Refunds of shipped purchases require original proof of purchase and must be requested within 10 days of your receiving them.
How do I ship my return?
You may ship your return to us via the carrier of your choice or you may contact us to purchase a UPS return label that will be emailed to you. If you are in the area, you are welcome to bring your return into the shop.
Why can't I return my item?
If you've fallen outside of these parameters, we're sorry that we cannot take your return. Most often, returns result in a total loss for our business and we cannot afford the losses that accompany the return policies you might enjoy elsewhere. Thanks for your support and understanding.

Our shipping department has a name, it's "Liz!" Liz works tirelessly to make sure you get your order shipped as quickly as possible. Liz also trains for and runs ultramarathons and some days we have more orders than we can ship. On those days, the shipping department is called, "Molly," or "Max." What providers do you ship with?
We ship with UPS ground. Gift cards will ship with USPS. We can accommodate PO box shipments. If those providers can be problematic with your address, please let us know.
What if there is a delay?
Wintertime in the Sierra can be kind of a lot... Storms are the most likely culprit as your classic Sierra storm will shut down roads and limit opportunities for package pickup. Please call us if you are concerned about a delay.
What if I live, like, really far away?
These terms apply to shipping within the contiguous US only. Other shipping options are available to Alaska and Hawaii, please contact us for details. We do not ship internationally or to any US territories.
Can you do expedited shipping?
If you need expedited shipping, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (530) 583-6917 and we can assist you with available options. All estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed: weather, carrier delays and other unforeseen circumstances can affect these timelines.
Do Broken Arrow Skyrace orders ship on the same timeline?
Please note that all Broken Arrow Skyrace orders may take up to one week to ship.
Pickup In Store
We are stoked to support pickup in store as the most environmentally-friendly delivery option! Please give us a few hours to prepare your order. There are some instances where a product you ordered is in off-site storage. We will contact you with an estimated arrival time and will notify you when your product is ready for pickup!
