Hybrid Softshell Jacket and Pants

We favor the Raide Research Hybrid Hoody paired with the TourTech Hybrid Bib. The Dawn Patrol kit is loved for its durability, but is much less breathable.

Refine with a Base Layer

The Artilect Boulder 125 is a versatile, lightweight base layer to match the demands of a hybrid kit. Each piece has vented, "eyelet" panels that help with thermoregulation.

Versatile Essentials

We favor a heavier glove to better manage wet, unpredictable days in the backcountry.

The Raide Hybrid Hoody has insulation built in. This means that, at transition, all you add is a shell jacket. The best piece to complete your kit is the TourTech Shell Jacket.

Emergency Layers

At less than 150 grams each and packing down to the size of a water bottle, having a Deploy puffy in your pack is a huge confidence boost in the backcountry.

Alpenglow's Signature Hardboot, the Backland Pro is the best combination of lateral stiffness for climbing and a progressive flex on the descent. We add the Phantom Link Lever to get a tunable flex and softboot like feel with all the benefits of hardboots.
