Alpenglow's Atomic Backland Pro is a hardboot splitboarding boot that’s modified to make every day of touring that much more enjoyable.
Your pre-order of the Backland Pro is the first step to unlock the benefits of hardboot splitboarding. After your pre-order, our boot builder, Max, will contact you to get your modification preferences. We are offering two modification configurations and will help you decide which is right for you.

About the Boot
The Atomic Backland Pro offers the ideal balance of light weight climbing efficiency and a secure fit for controlled and responsive downhill performance. Top tier technology at a good price, the boot offers top-end features like Prolite construction and a Cross Lace 2.0 closure system that integrates a cable into the buckle for a more precise shell wrap and a more secure fit around the foot and ankle for powerful riding. The Frictionless Pivot and Free/Lock 4.0 ski/walk mechanism provide 74º of natural movement for trouble-free climbing. The comfortable 3D Gold Tour liner is breathable and washable and is equipped with Dura Shield, a two-stage protection of TPU and durable mesh that extends the longevity of the liner.
- Prolite: Revolutionary light construction with supportive reinforcements in key zones.
- Free/Lock 4.0: This robust ski/walk mechanism with adjustable forward lean can easily be cleaned of snow and ice.
- Materials: Carbon Loaded PA Shell / PA Cuff
- Liner: The 3D Platinum Tour liner offers a firm handshake fit, high performance and is fully heat-moldable.
- 3D Ankle & Heel: A pre-formed, anatomical ankle and heel area provides a precise and comfortable fit.
