How It Fits — The DW-1A last utilizes Precision Fit, a true fit to accommodate the biometrics of women’s foot shapes. Built with a narrower heel, wider toe box, and a lower height increase from toes to ankle for superior comfort and optimal support.

• Suede and Textile Upper: We [Danner] combine a durable suede with a lightweight textile to create an upper with modern performance and timeless Danner® durability.
• Removable Ortholite Footbed: Multiple layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.
• Resurge Midsole: The lightweight EVA midsole provides comfort and energy return for agility and fast-paced movement.
• Danner® Strobilus Outsole: The Danner® Strobilus outsole is made with grippy multidirectional ridges—designed to look like pinecones—to improve traction on light hikes and walks.
