Featuring an integrated sock collar that prevents dirt and debris entry while enhancing lockdown and comfort, a light, durable Bio-Dyneema® Upper, an Arnitel® TPEE midsole with best-in-class energy return, and a bespoke outsole made with Vibram® Megagrip Elite, the 055 was designed for ultra-distance efforts across all terrains and conditions — like UTMB and the Hardrock 100.

The norda 055 combines race day grade resilience and responsiveness with a build that's designed to tackle the world's most technical terrain. Its one-piece knit "sock" collar — a first for norda footwear — supples a "second skin" fit to keep trail detritus out and the wearer's foot locked in place, while a bespoke Arnitel® midsole ensures benchmark rebound and stable mechanical properties across all conditions and climates.

• Seamless Knit Collar — A seamless one-piece collar with no hotspots or weak points. Supplies a "second skin" fit that keeps out dirt and debris while increasing lockdown and comfort.
• Reflective Linework — 360-degree reflective detailing for visibility from all angles, with design language that nods to both the 001A and 005.
• Upper — Made of bio-circular woven Dyneema® combined with nylon. Impossibly strong and featherlight, with a weave pattern that allows for maximum breathability and rapid water drainage.
• Laces — Made with Dyneema® for 4x the strength of standard laces, greater abrasion resistance, and improved strength. Slimmed from 5mm to 4mm to reduce weight.
• norda® Fit Lock System — An interior foot binding system that delivers unwavering stability by working with the seamless knit collar and the laces to provide a cersatile, customizable fit with exceptional lockdown.
• Insole — Made with eTPU for maximum energy return and comfort.
• Midsole — Crafted from pure Arnitel® TPEE, allowing for best-in-class resilience=y ratings, exeptional responsiveness and standout durability, all while remaining incredibly light.
• Soleplate — A proprietary norda x Vibram® Megagrip Elite™ outsole with linework inspired by the topography of Quebec, rear and front lips for increased durability, and 5mm lugs for superior grip.
