The key is our new EnduroFoam Plus midsole, a robust cushioning system designed for greater energy return. The MTN45 delivers plenty of stability, too, thanks to a super-grippy Vibram® outsole. Combined with a premium leather upper inspired by our legendary Mountain Light hiker, the MTN45 will keep you going strong for years to come, because it’s recraftable too.

Nubuck Leather Upper — Our top-grain leather is sanded on the outside to give it a slight nap with a velvet-like feel. This leather upper is extremely durable, while offering a shorter and more comfortable break-in period.

Removable Ortholite Footbed — Multiple layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.

Vibram^® Megagrip N45+ Outsole — Specially formulated for superior wet/dry grip, with a wider Traction Lug platform to boost stability on uneven ground.

Rock Plate — Lightweight and supportive, the TPU rock plate provides stability and underfoot protection on rough, uneven terrain.

TPU Mudguard  — LIBA® Smart TPU mudguard offers increased durability without adding weight.

How It Fits — Inspired from trail running, the DT6 last features an 8mm offset from heel to toe with slightly more width in the forefoot for stability and a good-looking, everyday-wearable aesthetic.
