AI FAQs
AI generated FAQs about the Evo Tail Black
How do I adjust these to keep them snug while I'm moving?
These tails slide onto compatible Evo snowshoes, then you twist down the adjustment knob to secure them. The twist-knob attachment lets you add flotation without removing your snowshoes.
Are these lightweight enough that I won't get tired feet from carrying the extra weight?
These tails weigh 12 oz per pair and use a light, low-profile plastic design. Their modest weight and packable profile help minimize the extra bulk you carry when you need added flotation.
Will these work on packed snow, or do I need something different for icy conditions?
These tails add 6 inches of flotation for deep snow, and their modular design lets you pair a smaller primary Evo snowshoe for added agility in packed conditions. They are built for deep snow and packed-condition versatility rather than for icy terrain.
How quickly can I get these on and off when I'm out on the trail?
The slide-on, twist-knob system lets you attach or remove these tails without taking off your Evo snowshoes. You can add their 6 inches of flotation when snow deepens or when you are carrying a heavier pack.
Will these stay attached to my boots, or do I need to worry about them coming loose?
These tails attach to compatible Evo snowshoes rather than directly to your boots, using a slide-on, twist-knob system. The tails are not compatible with Denali snowshoes.
How much space do these take up when I'm packing for a trip?
Each pair measures 11.5 by 7 inches and weighs 12 oz. Their light, low-profile shape is designed for easy packing on trips.
Are these good for both men and women, or are they designed specifically?
These Evo Tail Black snowshoe tails are unisex. They are designed to add 6 inches of flotation to compatible Evo snowshoes for deep snow or heavier packs.
