Demo Backcountry Ski Gear at Palisades Tahoe!
The Annual Lake Tahoe Backcountry Demo Event is on January 4th, 2025. Join us for North America’s largest demo event for all things alpine touring, telemark and splitboarding. The event is held annually at the Alpine side of Palisades Tahoe, a destination known for great out-of-bounds terrain and easy to access side-country. The event provides a forum to perpetuate the enthusiasm for all aspects of in-area and backcountry skiing.

Register in Advance
Registering beforehand is kinda like having TSA Pre Check. You get to skip the line and everything is set up for you in advance.

Participants can also register day-of at Palisades Tahoe Alpine.
Remember to get a parking reservation!
1/4: 9AM-2:30PM
Demo as Many Skis as You Can!
Items should be used for 3-4 runs at a time so that everyone gets a fair chance to try equipment equally. Try and maximize the number of skis and boards that you can try!
A demo is not a rental, so please return your gear as often as possible.
